Onto my 3rd set having covered 55,000 miles - isn't anything made to last anymore?

Being rather pikey, i'm rather reluctant to shell out £55 - but will need to p/x the car in the near future.

Stop driving in football boots?

If you're going to PX it then why bother shelling out for new mats? The dealer isn't going to give you anything less for it, so you're just going to lose £55!

Whereabouts are you chap, we have a mint set we rescued from the car before it was towed from its accident spot. I'm sure she'd let you have them for less than £55 too!

Cant seem to find any on Ebay now, but a few years ago i brought a metal plate with the R cut out on the bottom corner and stuck it onto the drive mat to stop wear, its been a great purchase !

Surrey .. and mine have been delivered frown Not sure i want a jinx'd set either ( .. hope it wasn't lift-off oversteer .. ) wink But I can see a market for modified mats with a metal (or carbon?) heel pad - need some for my other car - but the Honda item are particularly bad for wear. 15k miles is just not acceptable in my book and i wear normal leather shoes.
