After about 100miles of driving on Tuesday I stopped at some services for a bit and when I came back out to the car it wouldn't start. The battery has power and the engine turns over but doesn't fire up. The guy from the AA found that there didn't seem to be any power going to the spark plugs. But couldn't work out why. Unfortunately I'm not able to get to the car at the moment as I had it towed to my parents which was closer, but does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?
Any help would be much appreciated.

After finally getting round to arranging for some one to come and look at the car, it doesn't sound like good news. The cam belt tensioner has snapped sending a spring through the crank shaft sensor and some loss of compression in the engine frown

The car had full Honda service history up to about 90k and has been done independently after that. Basically it's just down to bad luck that it's gone. After speaking to the mechanic again he was confident that the loss of compression was just down to a slipped cog or something like that and that once the belt and tensioner had been sorted it wouldn't be an issue. Could this be the case?
Anyway the car is running and back with me. I don't really know how to explain it, but it feels different.
