Civic 2.2 Diesel ECM

I was looking at a 56 plate Civic 2.2 Diesel yesterday that was up for sale at a garage but was unavailable to test drive as the ECM (Electronic Control Module?) was being replaced. It is the right colour / lowish miles and is what I am looking for (albeit list price a bit high IMO) but is the above a known issue or something to worry about?

There was a recent recall for the MICU (the box that controls a lot of the car's electronics) as it seems on some cars it wouldn't go to sleep properly when the car switched off and it would drain the battery if left for a while. It's a software fault but the box needs to be replaced if it's affected.

I had a recall letter (but have never had any problems) and they checked it out while it was in for service.
