Hi, looking to replace my old alloys with the revised 17" versions. Can anyone suggest where to pick some up? Please don't suggest S2ki.com as for some reason I just can't seem to get on with the site and never find what I'm looking for!
Cheers.

There are regularly sets on ebay. Another option is to sign up to one of the parts requests websites which emails various breakers with your requirements and they respond if they have anything suitable. Alternatively go the Jap breakers direct. Should be plenty of sets around as a fair few S met with a sorry ending over the winter period what with the snow and that.

Sets of 16"s are cheap as chips, but 17"s typically fetch £400 for a set of average condition 10 spokes with (no tyres) to £6-700+ for a refurbed set with part worn Bridgestones or similar. I think I got a good deal for a set of 17" in average cosmetic condition with well worn Bridgetones suitable for trackdays for £450.

Thanks for that. Have tried Ebay, but will have a look at the breakers site.
Cheers.

There are three 17" OEM styles on the S
04-05
06-07
08-09
(and two 16" versions! not including the special fits!)

THE most popular are the 04-05 and they go for ~£500 a set on fleabay regularly. They do suffer from corrosion of the front face as water gets under the lacquer. They are diamond cut so expensive to get a like for like refub. Many peps just powder coat them.
The 06-07 ones are nicer IMHO but are rarer
Never seen used 08-09's yet wink

Are they all the same size? 215/45/17 front and 245/40/17 rear? Not too fussy as to which later design wheels, just really want the tatty old ones off!! Did want the Civic Type R wheels, but they all seem to be 205 or 215 widths.

+04's are all the same
They are very different front to back with a staggered offset.
Not many others will fit and nothing from FWD cars.
