Hi guys, soon putting a deposit down on a Honda Civic MB6 VTI in Pirates black. I love the car, good to drive, very quick and comfy, bit of a jack of all trades really. However, ive been reading around and alot of people reccomend getting the rear anti roll bar from a MG ZS 180 as it improves the handling significantly. As you all probably guessed, im seriously looking into it, there is a ARB for sale on flea bay at the moment for £35. Is this a nice easy bolt on? also is the rear ARB the same on both the Saloon and Hatchback MG ZS 180's or is it different?

Cheers

Good choice there, the anti roll bar. I've got one on my Aerodeck makes a HUGE difference; you can really feel the LSD pull the car round the corners, and the body roll is far less and more controlled.

Just a question, is the MC2 Aerodeck the same as the MB6 then? They do look like a better buy. Any other info you can give other that that of this thread and my linked thread?

Yes both cars are essentially the same with the obvious difference being that the MC2 is an estate version. There are also loads of parts interchangeable with the MG ZS such as the suspension etc, another cool fact is that there are also certain parts that are interchangeable with the Integra Type R, cams, intake etc. For more info go on to civic5.com, they're a friendly bunch in there smile

Good choice, the mb6. Can be made into a real sleeper of a car! The MC2 (aerodeck vti) has essentially the same running gear as the mb6, only bit the estate doesnt have is the rear ARB for some reason! Other than that, same car, same performance, just even more practical.
