1999-2001 gear box probs

Hi all as we all know the early accords had syncro problems 5th and reverse but i thought that they were fixed by 2001 my accord is a 51 plate and i have lost reverse and 5th is clunkey i need to get a new gear box and ant to know if the new modified gearboxs have a different number on them
