Buying Advice Civic 2.2 CTDi

Hi,

I'm looking to replace my Octavia vRS with something more economical and I'm being drawn towards a diesel Civic, preferably a 2006/2007 "ES" spec (as I like the auto lights/wipers, cruise control and panoramic roof) with relatively low mileage.

Have you guys got any tips on anything I need to look for when I go looking at Civics?

Is it worth holding out for one with this spec level, or should I just go for the "sport"?

Are there any decent owner's clubs/forums worth joining out there?

Also, can anyone recommend any decent Honda independents for servicing in the Basingstoke area?

Sorry for all the questions but I like to be as informed as possible before parting with my hard-earned cash.
