Boot lid problem on my ep3...

Went out to the car to get the babys pushchair out and the bloody boot wont open...

Managed to get the chair out through the folded rear seats...

Its not frozen up as ive kept the car garaged overnight.

is there a way of opening the boot without the use of a crowbar?.....

I have an Integra which is similar, have you tried going through the back seats and removing the trim at the back of the hatch, and try opening it with a screwdriver or something similar (it might be the boot release that has broken, it happened on mine)

Been out tonight to pick a mate up and its fixed itself...

I had similar issues, Very annoying, and seemed totally random. Couldn't open the hatch either with the keyfob unlock button or by inserting the key and turning. Cause was moisture, dirt or both somehow getting into the locking mechanism. It was cleaned, dried and greased at the last service and hasn't bothered me since.
