I am sure that this has been answered before many times before, but please be patient with me. Its a 54 plate S, currently on Bridgestones, can someone recommened something less pricey but she would be happier with a known brand. Not for hooning around, a shopping car so ... ? Thanks you Honda experts out there! JOHN

I assume you mean the 5-doot 2-litre 160hp Type-S?

I have Michelin XSE Pilot Primacy all round on mine. By changing over front to back and visa versa when fronts half worn a set of 4 lasted me for over 32,000 miles. And I'm not a slow driver, especially on corners. Cost me £340 for the 4 including fitting, balancing and alignment check.

Look on Camskill.co.uk - which you can have fitted and balanced locally for £5-8 a corner.
Use that to compare with locally, and there you have it.
As for brands - Falken FK452, Toyo T1-R would be my recommendation, but then I've not tried every tyre out there, so others will probably be equally suitable too.

I reckon Toyo T1-Rs or Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s. The latter aren't being manufactured anymore AFAIK, but you should still be able to get hold of some, they are awesome in the wet.

Don't know if the Goodyears are available in the required size, sorry.
