Type-S Air Filter. Help Please

Hey There,
Considering buying an Air Filter for my Civic Type-S 1.6 2004 7thgen model.
It's my first car despite driving for 3 years, and aint modified a car before.

What filter would you recommend for decent performance (and Sound) improvements?
also would I be able to fit this myself?

If you can think of any better mods which wont cost thousands please recommend.
