Buying an import

Hi all,

i'm a newbie to this forum, so, Hello!

I've got my eye on an S2000 which i suspect is a jap import.
Seems like a nice car in the ad' but i thought i'd better ask if there's anything i should look out for (other than the obviouse).

Would appreciate your thoughts.

Jap imports are graded with a 4 or 4.5 being very good.
All i would say is make sure its above a 3.5 if you can find that info out.
3 is tatty, and 0 accident damaged or modified.

JDM S2000's are easy to spot
no washers to the headlamps and a square rear number plate and no fog light at the bottom of the bumper.
Generally they are OK, a few minor mechnical differences.
Leather seats were an option on them so many are cloth/vinyl.
