Mugen have kindly offered to leave their fabulous FN2 Civic Type R (the one that is currently being featured in the magazines) with us so that PH'ers and some of the owners clubs can come and have a look.

This is likely to take place on a weekend in November.

I will appreciate any expressions of interest from PH'ers and Honda owners clubs, by email at mark@tdi-plc.com.

Thanks for reading.

Will you be posting on www.civictype-r.co.uk/forum ?

That will certainly get some interest. I believe Sam's a member on there, so he'll know who to speak to.

I think Sam is still waiting for permission from the owner of the club to make the post smile

Assuming Jon is still the owner, you should get an answer by 2018. wink

Yes Dan, JonC is still "officially" the owner, but the running is now done by "EvoStu".

How much are they asking for this and what sort of Mugen bits on them?

Will it have the Recaro PP or Kevlar ones?

Will it have those brakes?

It's not definitely going to be put into production. If it is it's expected to cost £35k (or upwards) and there will be limited numbers.

At £35k I'd rather buy the new VW golf R which will cost less than £30K, and i'm a huge or honda fan, or (buy) a used NSX!

At £35k I can't see a large queue forming, may be one or two hard core nuts but not many IMO.

I'd love to see back to back testing of these and the other circa £35 track focussed, road legal cars....

Are there any?

We are trying to gauage interest in getting the car to TDi North in Warrington for 7th and 8th November.

Anyone interested in that?
