I wouldnt worry about them miles at all, especially if its been serviced to schedule (cambelt etc). I had a prelude 2.2 vtec (same h22 engine roughly) with over 140k miles on it, and it still ran and pulled brilliantly.

Don't the 1.8 & 2.0 engines in the 1999 Accord use a chain rather than a belt?

No, they're belt driven.

As long as it looks ok for condition, and it drives well on the test drive, I can see no reason why it wont be fine. Them engines are really tough.

As has been said above the engine should be good for that mileage and well beyond but check it's been serviced properly, on time and with good quality oils.

ATR's also have a notorious syncro problem on the gearbox - check this has been replaced or recalled if required.

there was an ATR forum but dunno if it's still about - sure someone will know the address though

Great car, I had one from new. Just check the drive shafts. Mine were both replaced under warranty, but could be an expensive job if you're paying.
