Hi guys,

Can anybody recommend or suggest a geometry specialist who can check my S2000 ?

Preferably as close to Oxfordshire or Buckinghamshire as possible.

The one I know is north of Birmingham and is booked up at least a month in advance (and isn't cheap) - CenterGravity. I know on s2ki.co.uk though they do recommend a couple of others (one in the South somewhere, one in the NW).

If it's not been done already, and you've a bit of extra spare cash, get whoever does the work to remove and grease ALL of the suspension adjustment bolts before doing the alignment.

I was recommended Centre Gravity by a chap with a Porsche 997 Turbo. If you google them, you'll find favorable reviews. I think my friend arrived at 10am and left at 11pm once all was done. Committed by the sound of it.

"Correct kit" is a misnomer - there are all sorts of 4-wheel geometry checking kit around. At the bottom-end, a Hunter-rig has to be calibrated annually and anything within (IIRC) 2 or 3 minutes of arc is considered calibrated. So if you get to it 9 months down the line and you're asking for 5-minutes toe-in (not unusual), you could conceivably end-up with toe-out!

Conversely the Beissbarth kit (for example) that the real specialists use is better than an order of magnitude more accurate.
