Im looking to buy a CTR EP3 facelift edition, however I do not know a great deal about these cars.

The majority of ones within my budget that aren't Cat D's have around 75k miles on them. How many miles do these get to before starting to need regular services/repair work?

Anything I should look for when buying one that could help it being a complete nightmare with repairs, services etc to something that will need little servicing/repair. One I was looking at was http://pistonheads.com/sales/1111999.htm

My mum owns a Jazz which has about 45k miles on it and there have been numerous problems with it.

Any advice?

I've had an 05 facelift CTR since new and haven't had anything major to do, it only has 45K on the clock though.

For lots of info join CTRO and have a read, there's a buyers guide sticky thread too for good reading.

Just had a look at the registration page. I don't think they want any new users.

What gave you that idea? As it's not the case at all.

I see what you mean about the CAPTCHA images though Evostance. Think I'll mention that to admin.

75k miles is nothing on a Honda VTEC engine provided it has had regular oil changes. My Integra is on 137k miles and counting.

The CAPTCHA images are impossible to decipher. No registration without deciphering the image. So no new registrations.

Well there's been 11 new registrations today.

The images are a bit hard to decipher but according to admin that's been put in place recently to reduce spammers and is working. They can't be impossible to see otherwise, you're right, there would be no new users.

Edit to add ... I notice Evostance did manage to register yesterday.
All is well with the world. biggrin

They're bloody annoying though, the hardest I've come accross - I was wanting to register to the DC5 forum, I think I eventually got the right code, but they've never sent me an activation code. Cant they just have a question to ask that a bot wouldnt know the answer to?
