Feckity feck! Our 2003 accord has failed its MOT - the independant couldnt read the ECU code so we had to take it to a main dealer. Its been identified as rear wheel abs sensor failure, part no 57470SEA013. Now they have called back and said its on back order with no ETA. Anyone help or ideas on who to chase??? Now the MOT is about to expire, plus it has to be back for next Friday or we have to pay for the MOT again! (on top of the £220 quote for sensor + fitting!) Damn!!!! frown

Honda normally supply within 48 hours (often 24) from their Belgium warehouse, if it's not in UK stock, so your dealer should've alerted you to that.
Not sure if the independent OE spec suppliers have the same part, but might be worth looking into.
ADL/Blueprint is the most likely, but there are others your local motor factors can check with.

cheers for that - called local motorfactors and ADL dont do one. He is calling another supplier but doesnt look good.

One option is get a Acura TSX from the states sent over as they are alot cheaper and on ebay....

update - car is STILL off the road madmad

Honda gave a part delivery date at dealer for today and guess what, it never turned up. The dealer spoke to honda and said there were "10" due in but didnt know where they are.

Have now raised it with Honda UK - the call centre chap said they will return my call within 72 hours! FFS!!!!
