Currently have a set of pirelli p6000 on my civic EK4, which in my experience have been shocking!

As all 4 need changing, thought i would get a decent set. Had a look at toyo T1 Rs, but don't think they are made in 185/60/14....

Any ideas guys?

Doubt they are.

Fitting some 15" wheels would increase your choices substantially, but may affect your insurance also...shouldn't be a lot though. There are some websites (saw one linked on here recently) which can advise on the closest diameter/profile match for your current set if you want to do that.

In that size, I just checked blackcircles.com for options and:-
- Pilot Exalto 2's I have used and they're good, but very expensive (albeit they wear well)
- Eagle NCT-5's tend to get good reviews, and are a lot more affordable
- Conti PremiumContacts would also be a good (albeit also fairly expensive) choice.

Otherwise I'm lost. I didn't rate P6000's very highly, but a few people have, and Falken are building a rep for themselves as a good leftfield choice for sports tyres, not sure about this area of the market though, so would hesitate to recommend although I would suggest you find out more...

Why have you got 14s? I thought the EK4 came as standard with 15s?

That will teach me not to use online tyre size calculators...... Yeah, absolutely right, they are 15's!

Toyo T1R's are now an option as are a number of other well reviewed tyres. Although the toyos seem a good 20 quid less than other premium tyres?

Don't know if Goodyear GSD3s are available in that size. A very good tyre, particularly in the wet.
