UK Spec K20 Power?
Discussion
The UK version and the JDM version are as you rightly pointed out different. On the UK civic type R they used the K20 which had 200PS and the JDM K20 as used in the Integra Type R is 220PS standard. They differences are the JDM has a higher compression ratio, hence Integra owners don't really like fitting after market forced induction (Superchargers, Turbos) as they don't tend to have a long life cycle. (the engine needs a lot of work to strengthen it up)
The UK version is more suited to forced induction. I suspect they will be other slight differences in the JDM and UK versions like cams, and definitely Inlet and exhaust manifolds.
Also if you start searching the internet you will find other variants from the US market such as the K20A2 and K20A3
