Hi folks,
i have been a pistonheads member for a while now mainly on the Elise forums.

i had to get rid of my elise 111R due to the credit crunch and have been looking for something similar but a bit cheaper and more user friendly day to day so have been considering an S2000.

a car turned up recently very close to me so went for a poke about it but as a newbie to Honda was wondering what you thought about price, mileage, anything to check.

the mileage scares me most due to the engine being quite highly tuned for a 2 litre.

any info most welcome
thanks

sorry, this is the car

If the car has been serviced on the dot every time, the mileage is absolutely nothing to worry about.

Just the usual mileage related things you'd get with any car.

Have you looked on Auto Trader?
There's at least 3 others that would be better options, with less mileage and lower/equal price.
If you can knock at least £7-800 off the one you linked, then it'd be more of a contender, but I image you could equally knock some off the others as well.

Appreciate that, but would sooner have under 60-80K than 102K for same money at the expense/hassle of a bit of driving.
Is there anyone down south nearer to them, whom you could enlist to look over and appraise, to save you a wasted journey?
