Has anybody succesfully repaired the two worn patches behind the seats (above shoulder) on their 02 model S2000? I have two small patches that are wearing there. I've been told that this is a common problem on the older models?

I was thinking of getting some flexible super glue and sticking a canvas patches over the worn area from the inside to protect it from the frame wearing it through any more. Can anyone see any problems with this?

Thanks

Check out www.s2ki.co.uk everything you need to know is on there, it'll get you an instant answer rather than waiting here.

One guy has done a tidy job reinforcing the area with credit card sized pieces of roof material from another worn roof. There are mountain bike covers called lizard skins which seem to work well too.

I would get the correct vinyl glue mate, and buy some old roof to patch it up with. Just got a brand new roof fitted and will be doing this as a precaution. Also wrap the frame up to stop it getting worse, there are some good pics on s2ki mate
