Have a look on www.s2ki.co.uk

303 Aerospace Protectant comes highly rated, it protects plastics against UV degradation. I use it on the roof of my S, it gives a nice matt finish. It's available from a few car cleaning places online and gliding/flying clubs, but I got some from a local swimming pool/hot-tub shop as it's also used to protect pool covers. The trick is to use it sparingly otherwise when it rains you get a few white streaks down the bodywork if you over do it. I thought it looked a mess the first time I applied it, really blotchy, but after it dried it gave a nice even finish. It's fairly cheap, £12 or £15 ish for a bottle which will do a good few times.

Others also use Raggtopp, Autoglym vinyl and rubber protector and a BMW product.

As above - 303 Fabric Guard to renew the waterproofing, with a good cleaner. Bilt Hamber Surfex HD or possibly 303's Aerospace Cleaner, but I've never tried it.
Protectant is very useful for interior plastics and inner door seals, as well as wiper blades, so worth getting some at the same time as the FG.

PJ, checking out the Fabric Guard as I hadn't heard it mentioned before, it seems to be for cleaning/protecting fabrics (they mention wool, leather and suede etc.) whereas the roof on the S is vinyl.

Just found this pack which looks ideal for cleaning and protecting the S roof http://www.motorgeek.co.uk/vinyl-cleaning-p-97.htm...

Ah, hadn't realised the S2000 was vinyl rather than fabric - more Honda cost-cutting!
As the kit is their own cleaner and the Aerospace protectant, I'd say if you already have a good cleaner like Bilt Hamber SHD, then it will be fine just to buy and use the Protectant on it, and the other areas I mentioned as well.
In that case, worth getting a large bottle or container, and use regularly to keep the UV damage to the minimum.

I get mine from The Polishing Company - speak to Mike and see what he suggests.

I have used 303 and found it good. I would give raggtopp a go too if you can get it easily. Worth protecting it as much as possible. And also worth checking out s2ki.com for tips on where the frame wears the roof, putting holes in it.

Tip: Use 303 very sparingly otherwise you will end up with smeared glass and bodywork the first time you leave it in the rain.
Cut a small piece off a sponge and apply (some people dab it on, I did it in straight lines.

Thanks People. I've just recieved my 303. I'll be putting it on sparingly as I really dont want those white streaks down the car!
