EG6 with type r head

Hi guys im looking to put a typre r head onto my b16a2. does anyone no what is involved i rebuild engines for a living so mechanically no problem. Is it worth it aswell.

I did this to my sir2 and it is a straight forward bolt off bolt on of the heads. I would say it is worth while, you get good gains. Any more info feel free to ask. Thanks

Thats impressive to get good gains even with the SiR. Do you have a PM.

B20 bottom end would be a better option.

A friend did this with his EG6 VTi, B20 bottom end, increased compression to 11:1 with some forged pistons, bolted on B16 head, added Hondata. Result 199hp and around 140lbft torque from something silly like 2800rpm held to nearly the redline.

I couldn't shake him in my MR2 Turbo.
