mb6 VTi to Type R - Worth the extra money?
Discussion
I'm considering upgrading my Civic. Currently I own a Civic mb6 VTi, very clean with only 59k on the clock, the car is great to drive and sounds great beyond 6k revs. However, I fancy a change and am drawn towards a Civic Type R.
I spent a couple of hours today looking at a No. of Type R's for sale in my local area (none worthy of a second look!),these cars look great but am unsure the car justifies spending my hard earned money - will I be disapointed after a month or so?
The other dilema is do I p/x or sell privately - Does the mb6 appeal to people.

i'd keep the MB6 VTi, unless you need more boot space or you're just tired of the car;
as much as like the EP3 it isn't as well put together as the previous type-Rs.
MB6 - great build quality, peaky engine and notchy gearbox, safe go-kart handling
EP3 - functional but tacky build quality, tractable engine and one of the best 'boxes, less-than-perfect chassis
