....I would have a button in place of the blanking plate next to the rear heated screen button in my 2002 MY s2k.

Can anyone tell me if there was ever an option fitted that would have replaced said blanking plate with a button?

As it happens its nicely placed for when I install some neons but it is driving me mad not knowing what could have been there if only the previous owner had spent a few more quids

I THINK that was where the headlamp wash button was on 99-01 cars.

...where it was perfectly placed to be caught by the driver's elbow on a nice sunny day when he had the roof down, thus soaking him and his passenger and ruining any chance of a shag that night... wink

Ah thank you! Also what nimrod thought a big red starter button that looked like a hazard warning button was a good idea?! How many times have I tried to restart the car whilst driving it hehe I mean mad

well umm, the fact is if your only experience of a big red button in the past was to either put on the hazards or to accidentally shut down the computer suite the start button can prove a bit confusing wink
