Hey guys, not sure If Im posting this in the right section, but I'll try anyway.

ATM I'm driving a 91 (J) Honda CRX VTEC with the B16A1 engine.

And the revs keep on going up and down. They go to 2.5rpm then drop then keep on doing so.

I've taken the IACV out and given it a clean but still get the exact some problem.

The engine has had quite a bit of work done it e.g Ported, Polished and skimmed head.
ITR Type R Cams, Springs and Retainers. Superchipped with Launch Control.

So really dont know what else it could be.

Any help please?

IIRC theres water hoses to the IACV, check that its not got an air lock and that the water is flowing through it. How clean is the throttle body?

if possible, try to disconnect the MAF sensor.

OK this may sound dodgy and I am not used to the Jap engines yet but do my own work on my LS1. If you want to eliminate the MAF/MAP sensor you can (at least on ours) unplug the sensor. If the car behaves (as it will have a fail safe tune for if the sensor has reported a failure) then thats your answer. Its the quickest way to start eliminating

i had the same problem with my mr2, cant remember what its called but it was a sensor/pipe connected to the intake manifold that had come out, just popped it back in again and all was well.
