Hi folks, unfortunately my S2000 has been towed away after a crash. It had its front wheels clamped by the tow truck and the rears were left to freewheel. I took a record of the mileage on the odomoter before it was towed away as I didn't want any of the local garage "party boying" it when its all fixed. Any ideas if the freewheeling of the rear wheels will effect the mileage reading when the ignition is switched on again or if it only measures the speed of the front wheels? I'm not sure on this one myself...

Sorry no idea, but let us know when you find out. The boys on S2ki.com will probably know. Would be useful to see if I can do a wheelie in the car and keep mileage down...

I know it's a bit late now, but you're not supposed to tow them with the rear-wheels on the ground as it can damage the diff.

How far was it being towed? If a few miles then I wouldn't worry. If lots then I'd get it checked out...
