With the price automatic NSX's being quite low how much would it cost to convert to the 6 speed manual box? Or are second hand transmissions like hens teeth?

i just converted my honda civic 4 speed auto to a manual box and it cost me 350pounds on labor and 250pounds on gear stick, all linkages, clutch 2nd hand. and then some test runs. it can be done but i made a mistake.. should'v kept the auto box there are alot of advantages just gta do the research.

talking about NSX you are talking BIG money and ALOT TIME looking for parts.

if ur looking for speed on a auto box, remap the ecu and put a superchager and level one NOS system. thats what i would do if i was you.

But changing from auto to manual = alot of money and time.

yes it can be done, but as said above, it will cost some money unless you get lucky. The engine has less HP ( around 250 ) and autos have PAS which some people don't like. The SC or NOS can be done but the Auto box is quite week and might not last long if abused.

The auto NSX is a nice cruiser car for daily duties, but not the same car as the manual.

Beware of the cheap imports as a good NSX is still fetching good money in Japan.

Hi folks

I had a problem with my VTI-S (1.8) engine and was looking for another one. The B series engine is proving quite hard to find. Would i be able to put a 2.2 prelude engine and gearbox in?

Would this require any other work?

Cheers
