I've been tryinbg to sell my car for 2 months now and have dropped £1000 from the price.

I didnt actually think the credit situation was this bad.

But seems like no one is buying anything atm.

And its quite sad really.

Anyone else feel the same?

Depends if your car is desirable or not I suppose.

I've been looking for my first car, and really really want a 2001 or newer 1.4 civic (need it to be a relatively low ins group for my first year ins, even though I'm 30) and am amazed at the prices (or rather price drops)

Honda's seem to be holding some of their value, but looking at the bargain basement auction thread on here I saw 1.8l 5 year old mpv's for the price that I'm looking to pay for my 01 1.4 civic - even alfa's that aren't beyond the realms.

I've had a few email enquiries but no viewings. Been on sale for a while now, but only in PH classifieds so not a huge market coverage with the ad.

Put it on ebay Sunday (best offer), so we'll see how that fares.

It's a 2002 S2000.
