Pressure Washing my 02 Type R Engine

I was wondering if I could pressure wash the engine and everything else under the bonnet(!!) of my type r? Is it possible or am I in danger of getting water somewhere in the engine and cocking it all up??

I think some people would say its ok just do it with the engine running. I wouldn't do it, if it needs a clean do it carefully section by section.

I think my biggest concern about using a pressure washer would be accidentally disconnecting something wired with the sheer force they can exert.
