Legend owners? - `95-97

Would be very interested if a current or previous owner could offer opinions on the 3.5 V6 from around these dates - may suit my needs for a distance cruiser, but need ideas of economy/performance & driving experience - are they 100% barge?
Any offers welcomed.

I've been using my fathers '92 Legend for a couple of months. It's very comfortable and has a reasonable turn of speed if you adopt a lead foot approach. Unlike other big cars such as 7-series, S-class, LS430 etc etc it's FWD so isn't too happy being hustled through the bends.

If you just want something that's a comfortable long distance cruiser. It's fit for purpose. Bit thirsty though!
