Hi,

Has anyone tried to strap a surfboard to an S2000 with hard top? I'm not sure whether the extra weight and lift at speed would be too much stress for the roof or it's attachements.

Cheers

I've recently had a couple of small dents appear on our hardtop which would suggest that it's aluminium. A surf board would surely create carnage.

I have to agree
It is aluminium and not that strong I wouldn't risk it
What about modifying a boot rack?

thanks. I think it's back to the drawing board then, i can strap it to a boot rack with the top off.

Roof down, board in passenger seat, strapped in with belt. Job done.
Bit of a bugger if it rains mind.
