Decided to replace my old Civic SE with a new CTDi Sport - all comments greatly appreciated! BUT why has my new one not got a rear wipe? In addition, the heated rear window appears to be pants and I'm driving miles in a hazy, rearview fog!

Personally I would have kept the old car, far more practical. Even has a spare wheel. And rear doors people can actually get into the car through without banging their heads. 2.2 diesel engine in the new one is a damn sight better than the crap 1.7 diesel engine that was fitted in the old model though.

I have a 2005 Type-S and there is no way I would trade it for the new Type-S - it's lost two doors and has lower performance.

The design intent is shape of the body/rear glass creates aerodynamics that 'blow' moisture off the rear glass (and deleting the rear wiper makes it cheaper to manufacture...)
