Just wondering how many people have got an S2000 and have just kept it and kept it. I've had mine from new for almost 6.5 years now and still love it to bits. OK so maybe that's because I still can't afford the Aston, but I'm seriously thinking about never selling it.

Who's had one longer?

Only had mine for three months but its a great car and as I tend to keep any car I buy for at least 8 years, it will probably still be mine in 2016. Whether I will still be able to get in it in 2016 is another matter as I will be 65 then!

had mine 6 months... just starting to think about some performance mods... tough car to replace without a serious amount of wedge.... i'd consider replacing for a Gallardo, Noble or perhaps a Farbio... even then i'd be tempted to keep the s2 as a reliable daily driver

Partly why I've never got rid of mine - coupled with giant mortgage, wife and kid!

Had mine since August 2002,(Had only done 1100 miles and has done 56k now) changed other cars many times in that time, never really felt the need to get rid of the s2000 as it has never upset me in any way. It still looks pretty cool and is ultra reliable and good to drive etc etc etc. I have had it longer than any other car since I started driving in 1983!!

I am sure it is going to start to be a little depressing with the onset of the new Tax bands.

I've not had mine for masses of time but i've put 30k on the clock in less than 14 months.

Have no intentions of getting rid now, just can't see any point.

Well I reckon the longer I keep mine and the more it depreciatiates, the harder it will be for the OH to want me to sell it, as it won't be worth anything!!

18 months for me, seems like I'm a beginner here, but then usually don't keep cars long, this may be the exception though.

Owned mine 3 years and 4 months, Had it for sale earlier in the year but changed my mind. Good all round car for the money reasonable too maintain and run..

Ownership for 3yrs 4months @ 32K, 3 services at main dealer approx £500, two sets of replacement Tyres @ £900 and a set of Iridium spark plugs fitted myself for £36.50..

Have thought once or twice of replacing it with either a Tamora or a 350Z.. Due to current circumstances, fuel costs and tax bands, i think we'll stick with it for another couple of years.

Unless i got a fat wallet full of money i can't see wot i can buy to better the 'S', It's in a market of it's own.............

I agree there really is very little else out there unless you stump up a pile more cash and as the last 3 services cost me about £180 each from the Honda dealer it seems daft to get into something that will cost a fortune to run
