Honda Civic engine warning light. Any ideas?
Discussion
Ok, so while driving along the motorway today the engine warning light came on on my Civic. I slowed down and cruised to the next services. Couldn't see anything wrong after a quick look under the bonnet so decided to drive home slowly. After a few miles there was a sudden loss of power, where it almost felt like someone had put the breaks on. Not having anywhere to stop I slowed up even more for the rest of the trip home and the car felt fine. The warning light remained on though.
I know it's not much to go on really but, any ideas as to what the problem could be?
Cheers

If its anything like a prelude then you can short a connector under hte dash and read off the code to find out whats wrong.
The loss of power might be the engine going into "limp mode" and may be nothing serious.
Sorry I cant help with the specifics of reading the code, but google should help
