Have you tried one of the Honda iPod adaptors? We have one fitted to the CRV - waste of money IMHO. You have to set up playlists - and you can only have 7 I believe. You can't reuse your existing playlists as they have to be named Honda01, Honda02, etc.

Because I then have 4GB of music stuffed into 7 playlists I then forget which playlist I have put which music into. Basically I could never find the music I wanted when driving - which made the whole idea of taking the iPod a waste.

Fortunately the CRV comes with a PC Card slot built in. For £40 I have a 4GB setup that I can search through by artist/albulm quite easily (vs ~£200 for Honda iPod connector).

All I can say is try out the connector before you buy.

hey

if you are not specific about ipod and are ok with just a line in, i have bought a Connects2 adaptor for my civic type r '04

it plugged in the cd changer port and makes the headunit beleve that a changer is plugged in and you can plug up anything through a line in cable

took me about an hour to fit, instructions to take apart the dash on civictyper forum..

Connects2 CTVHOX001 - Aux Adapter - Honda (1 @ £37.99 each) - £37.99
