hey fellas, some of you must be in similair sitations to my friend hes 21, no years claim bonus, atm hes paying 1400 a year
for fully comp listed as a driver on his dads policy for his 04 Honda Civic Type R.

if any of you could point me in the right direction of some cheap insurance companies id be grateful!

or is 1400 a good price?

I paid £1,700 fully comp on my own policy at 21 with churchill.

Im now paying £750 fully comp at 23 with 2 years NCB with elephant smile

They get crashed a lot by younger drivers, so thats why they are expensive for young drivers to insure.

my friend has a 03CTR 23years old 2 years no claims, off road parked, Tesco insurance, £788.00 with £500.00 excess.

I paied £1300 per year for my 1971 cooper S 3rd PF&T at 19.....

Paid about £750 Fully Comp with Churchill.
Age 21, 3years NCD, 3 points.

Sounds good compared to previous replies. Would also recommend Elephant/Admiral group. Beware though - have tried to upgrade with Churchill recently to a more powerful car, and they won't insure me.

However, it seems elephant/admiral far more flexible for younger drivers and Group 17-20 cars.

its a st quote. i am 22 with no 'no claims' with 6 points and mine was almost 300 quid less.

I use Sainsbury's bank for mine. Very, very decent quote.

Did a quick comparison site search and it was around £1500.

sure i could find it cheaper if i hunted around.
