1998 Civic VTI 'EK4'

Hi there. My mother had a car accident recently which has written off the car. It is now a Category C and won't be fixed by the insurance as it's not financially viable for them. The car has been offered to her at an attractive price, but how much would she be likely to get for it if advertised on ebay for example, as it is currently. Some educated guesses are required please from anybody who may have a lot of experience of Civics like these, or someone who has experience of breaking cars..

Details:
1998S Civic VTI-S
3 owners, my mother the last 9 years.
30831 miles (!)
Excellent condition in all respects prior to the accident.
No problems with the car have ever occurred during her ownership.
Would've been worth £3k plus had she sold it privately.
Main damage is to bumpers, bonnet. It may need new lights. Depends on whether the housing being cracked and detached is an MOT problem. Can see no other damage myself, but imagine we will have access to the assessors report.

She doesn't wish to keep the car as she was looking to replace it with a cheaper to run car before the accident.
