I have a JDM exhaust manifold for the EP3 if you fancy buying one.

Talk to me about money..... how much? is this from block to cat or somewhere inbetween. (i am not being stupid but some people have diffrent ideas when it comes to naming exhaust parts)

You'd be cheaper importing one.

The main differences with JDM cars and UK cars are the extra's you get - folding mirrors, climate control, square plates, cup holders etc. Of course there are difference with the Engines (on the EG the SIR had 10 more BHP than the UK VTI but this was due the ecu rather than the engines being different)

Just tune the one you have already rather than follow the crowd and go "jdm" like everyone else. Just MO.

Danrc, cheers buddy that sounds like sense to be honest. I think it is going to be a case of full exhaust, induction kit, and a re-map. I have been thinking about brakes too, i wanted some cross drilled/grooved disks for stopping power and visuals... Tarox and brembo do said items but seem a touch pricy, over £1300.00 in some cases, and the calipers are varity of 2-4pots so we are not talking massive calipers... any ideas......???

Its been said before that the est way to get the most out of the Na VTEC engines is breathing mods so exhaust and induction kit seems like the best idea. In all honesty you'd notice a fair difference with uprated brakes and fast road pads.

Do you have uprated suspension?

Get all that sorted and you should have a pretty well equipped CTR.

£100 notes for the manifold.

It's different from the EU version in that you'll need the JDM cat and exhaust.

Just to add- it's come directly from a new JDM EP3. I bought it a few years ago from the Synchro BTCC team who were based at the Swindon Honda factory. Honda donated JDM Civics for them to strip and use for the touring car program.

I bought an intake and exhaust manifold, an entire JDM interior and some HID lights at the same time. I never got around to fitting the manifolds to my CTR and sold the intake one about 4 years ago.
