DC2 Hondata S200 Whats your Opinion
Discussion
Hi,
Looking at buying my first Teg for trackday use and have come across a 96 dc2 JDM one with a Hondata S200 ECU
Does any honda specialist out there have any opinion on this mod ?
The guy who owns the car has had it tuned so at 4k rev's the ECU puts more fuel through the system, then v-tec at 6k as normal and then at 8k more fuel is added.
As i said it will be for trackday use, and reading other memebers buying advice they suggest goig for a car without ECU mods to start with, I'm keen to hear anyones opinio or own experience with this device.
Many thanks -

seems strange as tegs run slightly rich as standard. Stock ECU can cope with a few bolt on parts, However a corectly set up Hondata should gain a few BHP with those bolt ons or future mods. The Hondata though is only as good as who maps it.Met up with some one who is not too happy in the map on his DC5 even though it was done by a wel known company and took 5hrs.
