What oil in an 04 Civic Type R

What oil do guys use in theies or recommed?

I have spoken to three dealers and got three different answers as to honda's recommeded oil!!

5w40 fully synth. I've used motul in both my CTR and ITR and have had no probs at all, and they've both been 'enjoyed'!!

I always used branded semi-synth, anything will do in the right range.

I was advised by the technical director at the dealership (a chap called Dave Morphy who's been European Honda technician of the year and runner up a few times) that in his opinion semi was better than fully synth for the high revving VTECs.
