Hi all,

I've posted before on buying an S2000GT but now the Spring is comming it's getting near the time for me to buy one.

However,I have a small problem of selling my beloved Tiger R6 (Kit Car) which I built in 2003 first.

I had a look at S2000-4U last autumn. They have loads to chose from but I seem to recollect reading on here somewhere that I should be wary?

Sorry if I have opened an old thread here again. So if this info is available elsewhere, if someone could point me towards it I would appreciate it. If it is not available then your comments would be appreciated.

Once the R6 is sold I will be looking for either a Black or Moonstone with Red/Black interior. Year? Not fussy but must be Revision 3.

Over to you guys.

Regards

Then buy mine then.

It will be on PH classifieds next week. £10K secures it.

Well buy my TIDY Tiger R6 instead then.

I built this particular Tiger R6 (Thier flagship model) during 2003 from the chassis up and the car has been almost continually featured in Complete Kit Car magazine (Formally Which Kit Car magazine) from July 2005 until May 2007.

Having built and run Tigers now since 1997 I still can't see why on earth people buy Caterhams at the obscenely over inflated prices asked.

I agree that you could probably buy a Caterham for 10K or under but it would probably be either far from tidy, or very old and it will probably be fitted with a 1700 Kent X-Flow too. (How old is that)?

Keep looking at the PH Classifieds next week as this car will be re-advertised soon. There is absolutly nothing wrong with it. I just want an S2000GT for my retirement and the Tiger R6 has to go first.

If someone wants an R6 for the road there are none better than this one. Don't just take my word for it. Simply ask Jim Dudley, (MD of Tiger Racing). He will tell you all about it.

The person that buys my R6 will get an absolute bargin.

PS I have now read with interest the thread on S2000-4U on s2ki.com UK section. Very interesting reading with some buyers being very happy and some not at all. When I'm ready to buy I will probably pay them a visit to have a look, but unless I see an absolute steal I will probably buy elsewhere.

Thanks for the steer.

Well, that's a matter of opinion.I've had 2 now,and it's a combination of that they are built so well, have excellent history and heritage, have bombproof depreciation values, excellent factory support, and compared to any other 7 copy (Burkin excepted), they are a league above it in the looks dept.

All IMHO of course.

Good luck with your sale.
