Doese any one know if i swap the camshaft and ecu in my 1.8 vtec for the ones out of a 2.0 vtec will the power increase i done it in my old fiesta but not sure a bout the honda toh and what model is my accord 1.8 sohc vtec thanks

no had a 1.8 16v but if you sap the camshaft and ecu for the ones in the rs1800 it got a good power increase the accord feels like nothing till 4000 ish rpm

You can buy aftermarket cams for most hondas.

But you will need to get it dyno tuned and buy a system like Hondata to tune it.
Which is expensive.

You could possibly drop an accord type R engine in, or a prelude H22A

You're absolutely wasting your money on trying to tune the 1.8 in an Accord. It was never designed for power and aftermarket tuners don't really do anything of note for it.

Your only real choice to make decent power in that bodyshell is to buy an H series 2.2 from either an Accord Type-R or Prelude and go from there. There are many more bits available for those engines.
