CRV Owners - Anyone had suspension problems?

My 56 reg 2.0i Sport had developed a really bad (front) nearside suspension knock.

It's a warranty fix but dealer had never had this issue before. They have sent me home saying they will order parts and call me back in.

Anyone had this problem?

The car drives ok, there is no wobble in the steering but I would say the suspension feels softer than it was when new.

We have a new style CRV (for about 3 months) and have had no problems.

My father in law has had 4 CRVs (he bought one of the first ones in the UK and has been upgrading every couple of years since). He has not had problems.
