D16A8 Engines HELP!

Hi just wondering if anyone can offer me some advice about my car??

I'm new to the jap scene, previously had a VW Golf so dont know much about Honda's...

I've just bought a Honda Concerto 1.6(DOHC) non-vtec... i'm thinking of dropping this into a CRX...

Does anyone know If this will go straight in? Also any advice on what I can do to modify the engine? And where can I buy the parts from?

Why? The non vtec CRX already comes with the twin cam D16 engine.

Because the engine in my Concerto has only covered 34k by an elderly ownwer so I've just found a CRX with a blown engine... do u know if it will go into a CRX directly

why not just run the Concerto?

Seems like a lot of work for no good reason.

16i-16 Concerto was a good enough car IMO.

Cheers mate them guys were really helpfull! They said the engine would be a straight swap but advised me to just run the Concerto so I guess I'll do that...

CRX is a nicer car but I'm just gonna stick to the Concerto...

Does anyone know what I can do to speed it up?? The car's totally standard and YES I think it's time for a new clutch LOL

get yourself a turbo kit from america! they run sub 10 second drag hondas with D series motors in them
