just put a set of 17s on my accord with 215/45/zr17 tyres will i still be able to lower it 35mm thanks andy

Which Accord - current or previous gen (pre-'03)?
If the former, then yes - you will.
Bear in mind the point of changing wheels and tyres is to run the same overall diameter/circumference, so you've not done anything regarding its ride height.
Drop it at least 35-40mm, and consider stiffer anti-roll bars as well.

Ah, then probably 20-25mm to be on the safe side.

Springs on slightly rubs front inside arch but can fix that toyo 215/45/17 tyres droped 35mm = good fun sticks to the road but want to stiffen it up a bit anyone trird spring stiffners
