That is one very nice shiny looking Honda.

I love the wheels and colour, they really set the car off.

Gorgeous colour, I've never seen a Prelude in that before, is it OEM? Not a fan of the Mugen stickers but other than that, very nice.

2.2vtec?

Wow that looks lovely. The color looks fantastic. The photography is amazing too!

I've always loved the dash of the 'lude.

Thanks for the comments fellas, still got a way to go to get the car how i want it. Basically im tracking down all the Mugen bits that were available for the car in 1995. Got the M7 rims to go on yet, and hopefully in the new year i can get started on building up a K24 from an Accord Euro-R and throw that in.

Engine is a Jap Spec H22 with LSD gearbox, i transplanted it myself when i blew the other one up!

Colour is Maserati Mediterranean Blue, sprayed it myself a couple of years ago.

Got to get these bad boys bolted up and shod and on the car, 160 bolts to do... recently had them polished.

I work part time in a prestige bodyshop, doing mostly mercs and beemers etc. All self taught, i used to be an SAP consultant till i got jack of it. I much prefer going home at a reasonable hour and actually having an interest in what i do.

More pics!

its all good, although the steering wheel on the right side should of gave it away!

Had some good news this week, Hasport in the USA has just released its K kit for this chassis Prelude. They do wiring harness, driveshafts and mounts for the K24 engines. I'm now on the hunt for a decent K24 and gearbox. I'll build that with some Crower cams, some higher comp pistons, decent set of ITB's and some headers and it will blow the already punchy H22 I've got into the weeds. Plus i get a 6th gear which is good for the drive to work.
