picked up my dc2 integra type R yesterday, what a car!! it is more impressive than i thought it was going to be!
went out on a drive this morning following my dad in his caterham, all the way he couldn't lose me in either straight line speed or cornering, i think it would be a different story on the track though!

Nice one, they are good arent they?

I've not found much on the road that can shake it off unless very long straights and a lot of power in the other car is involved (and a somewhat determined driver). And THAT noise!

Enjoy it. smile

Another convert! Welcome...and if you haven't already, have a flick through itr-dc2.com - a lot of modding stuff on there (if that's your thing), but some very useful info too...

Sorry to thread hijack, but I'm also a new DC2 owner (96spec JDM). Its a fresh import and in the process of getting its UK registration - can't wait to get my grubby mitts on it biggrin

96-spec - first job, get some better brakes. Not sure if you'll fit bigger disks under the JDM wheels though, so could be pricey for new wheels (lightweights, and no more than 16"s) too.

That said, good pads and disks will be sufficient unless you're taking it on-track...which with these cars is a real temptation... biggrin
