Anybody here run the Mugen manifold / sports cat / twin loop system? Has anyone heard it?

I need to know if it's going to be bearable for a daily driver! I had a Spoon system on my Civic, and with the manifold on it was too much!

Also if anyone runs it, did it cause any fuelling issues and make it run lean?

Cheers,

Andy.

With manifold and CAT, you will get more boom in the cabin.
Mugen is not a noisy exhaust by any means - conforms to JASC or whatever the acronym is, which means it doesn't exceed 90dB measured at the tailpipe.
As such, you should notice it being a quieter/more muted sound than the Spoon/J's Racing/Amuse/etc

Andy, had a Spoon N1 on my DC2 ITR and swapped it for a Mugen twinloop.

Night and day, but with a jap manifold and decat the Mugen still isn't exactly "quiet".

Mugen twinloop is best for keeping the rozzers at bay, but climb into VTEC and the sound is totally changed. You don't get bolt on power but they are a great exhaust.
