Hi Everyone. I have just imported a HONDA PILOT EXL 4X4. It's a 2003 model. I bought it new while living in California. Does anyone else have one here in the UK? I have asked Honda UK's Customer Realations Department for information on getting it serviced. Now remember this is HONDA UK were talking about....their reply? "We cannot help you"! So, it looks like I'm on my own, as I am the only PILOT owner in the UK. Incidentally this model is manufactured in Canada. Anyone else out there?
Gerry.

Theoretically there should not be a problem, register it at your local dealer so when you book in for anything they already have the vehicle details.
When you want a service the Parts dept should be able to look up all the service items from your chassis number and match up the filters etc with UK stock.

Which engine has it got?

I would imagine that if you went with the UK service intervals it would be good enough unless there are special restrictions but it should say in the owners manusl.

Just to confirm, after posting the above I did a Google search on your model, found a used one here - http://usa-auto-center.ebizautos.com/detail-2003-h... (2003 model, 3.5 V6 auto) which gave a chassis number, went onto Honda UK parts and found all the parts listings for it no problem.
The oil filter for example, part number 15400PR3004 is available from Honda in UK stock so it may actually be used on a UK model as well.
