Nah, a few bumps and bruises, a slightly deflated ego and the realisation that I should have got new rear tyres BEFORE the rain came...

Ah well.

I was doing about 40mph in heavy rain on a local B road following Transit a van.

The rear tyrs were right on the limit. I should have known I suppose....

Suddenly we came up on a big bit of standing water. The van just carried on like it wasn't there but the S snapped round and I went across the other carriageway backwards. I hit the trees on the other side and the car rolled a couple of times, ending up on its roof.

A fairly common accident I believe. The car doesn't like standing water and I really should have had the tyres changed sooner. Oh well.

I also lost my Achtung Babay CD as it was in the stereo when they disconnected the batteryfrown Bummer indeed.

That happened at 40!! Bloody hell, me thinks it may be time to slow down a touch in the rain.

Only if you're driving an S2000 with barely legal rear tyres....
